Rusty Broussard is a Residential Contractor in Acadiana with more than 20 years of experience in the building industry.  He has made it a goal to create new and architecturally innovative homes.  In fact, each home that he builds has a fresh design and is filled with all of the extras. Stylish exteriors range from classic French Country to modern Coastal Floridian with a Caribbean influence. The interiors are uniquely finished with elegant cutting-edge details that really bring it home.  In today’s buyers market, the value that everyone is looking for can be found when owning a home built by Rajun Cajun Construction.  Rusty’s mission is to provide top quality homes to the Acadiana community.

Building Green is becoming a top priority to new home owners.  Rusty has been featured in Slemco Power monthly newsletter November-December 2012 for the construction of the “Ice Chest House”.  The foam-encapsulated attic offers an ice chest effect insulation, keeping utility bills to a minimum. His client built a 4 bedroom 3 bath 5,104 square foot under roof home with utility bills lower than their previous much smaller home.

Acadiana Builder’s bi-monthly publication March-April 2012 featured Rusty and Rajun Cajun Construction as their cover story.  The 5 page spread in the magazine touches on all that’s great about buying a home built by Rusty.  “The extras that you see in other homes are everyday items in a Rajun Cajun home.  Rusty believes in making the building of a home into a long term friendship.  He keeps in touch even after the closing, just to see how things are going.  I have yet to meet anyone who can beat Rusty when it comes to service after the sale.  He has attention to detail and excellent taste in design and color choices which makes it effortless for a new home builder” —- The Gachassin Family To view the article in its entirety you can visit Acadiana Builder website @
